You will need to give us 21 days notice in writing to end your periodic lease. If you email on the weekend, remember to add on an extra two days to allow for delivery of email. If you are posting then please allow an extra four days for delivery. Once we have received your email or letter we will reply to you on the same day to acknowlege the receipt.
A fixed term lease will end on the date that is on the lease agreement. For information on ending your lease early, please email your property manager immediately as conditions and costs will apply.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR STUDENTS – WE WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT LET STUDENTS OUT OF THEIR FIXED TERM TENANCY AT THE END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR.
Once notice is given what happens next? – Once we have accepted your final notice we will write to you explaining how we would like the property presented for the final inspection, if any rent is owed and if owed, how much. Also in the letter will the time of the final inspection and a bond refund form for you to fill out.
REFUND OF BOND
Our aim is to refund all bonds in full. The following must be completed before we can do this;
Rent must be completely up to date
Any other outstanding amounts owing must be paid
Cleaning must be completed to a reasonable standard
All keys must be returned on or before the day the lease ends
Bond refund form must be signed.
Full House undertakes not to submit any bond without the bond form signed and agreed upon with tenant. If we do not have agreement then we will apply to the tenancy tribunal and ask them to make a decision.
