Q. I would like to rent the property I have seen, what do I do now?

A. An application form needs to be filled out by each person who will be living with you. Application forms can be picked up from our office at 195 The Terrace, Wellington or click on Tenant Application Forms and follow the instructions. It is important not to leave any details off the form as this may hold up you application.

Q. Do I need to pay rent in advance and how much is the bond?

A. If you application is accepted you pay the first weeks rent when you meet with us to sign the lease. The bond must be paid in full on the day we give you the keys for the property. The bond is equal to four weeks rent.

Q. Some company's charge a letting fee of one week's rent do you?

A. No, there are no hidden costs.

Q. Can I have a pet?

A. We do not allow dogs at any of our properties, but cats are normally Ok. You must however ask for approval first.

Q. When I view the property I noted the carpet had some stains on it. I do not want this to affect my Bond refund when I move out, what should I do?

A. Before you move into your property we take digital photos of every room and complete a property inspection report. Within a few days of you moving in a welcome letter and a copy of this report will be sent to you. You then have 7 days to check the details on the report are correct, should you find any addition defects these should be noted and the report returned to us.
