Q. When I view the property I noted the carpet had some stains on it. I do not want this to affect my bond refund when I move out. What should I do?

A. Before you move into your property we take digital photos of every room and complete a full property entry inspection report. When you collect the keys for your property you will be given a copy of the entry inspection report. You then have 7 days to check the details on the report are correct. If you find any additional defects these should be noted on the report and returned to us as soon as possible. We also suggest you take your own photos of the property.

We produce a book called “A guide for tenants” full of useful information about your tenancy and how we will work together. You will be given a copy of this when you collect your keys. Please keep it handy and refer to it as it has a lot of useful information that will help us during your tenancy with us. Alternatively, you can download a copy here.
